Ahoy me hearties!
Well, without wanting to tempt fate, the countdown is on. Fliss's last day in the City - after nearly 30 years of servitude at the corporate altar - is next week - hurrah! Mick is busy tweaking our new boat, "Reward", getting her ready for the big off whenever this dire 'Spring' weather breaks for our Channel crossing. He's never happier than when tinkering on boats!
We move out of the house on 26 April and have some tenants for a year. So fingers crossed the plans will continue to go well. We'll cast off at Sandwich for Dover - then Calais - just as soon as the weather allows so watch this space.
